The Department of Computer Science at the Dijlah Universit College hosted the activities of the
(STEAM) camp to develop youngsters ’programming and robotics skills, on Saturday 28/12/2019, in the
college’s grand auditorium.
54children participated in the camp, in addition to parents who are interested in developing their
children's skills in the scientific and technological fields. The camp was divided into two parts, the first is
educational lectures on the importance of using modern technology in our daily life, the second part
includes the division of attendees into several groups and teams to connect and program (Makey Makey
Board) in a Scratch work environment, according to a graphic and art scenario prepared by children and
their parents.
