  1. About Research Unit

          The research unit was established at the Dijlah University College on 24/7/2012 from the principle of interest in scientific research and its development in terms of financial and moral support, and in terms of distinguished research and distinguished researchers. The research unit at Dijlah University College is considered one of the most active and important units, and it gains its importance from the development of the college’s annual research plans, not to mention seminars and study sessions and holding specialized scientific symposia and participation in international and local scientific conferences.

          Development of research activity in the Dijlah University College and urge to build a strong and sober account of featured research within Scopes and Clarvet containers. In additional to raise the level of the college in research activities and its contribution to promoting prosperity and societal and scientific progress on a large scale.

  1. Objectives

         – Follow up the annual research plan in the College by receiving the titles of the research proposed by the teaching staff in the various scientific departments and submitted to the College Council for approval.

          -The periodic and monthly follow-up of scientific departments to find out the percentage of achievement of research for each professor, and the reseach should be published or accepted for publication and achievement before 18 June of each academic year, and indicated in the calculator and records.

          -Raising the appropriate recommendation about rewarding the  researchers who have a published research, as well as disbursing of publishing fees to them, presenting a letter of thanks and appreciation to them and documentation.

-Raising an annual position at the completion of the academic year to inform the deanship includes the completed and published scientific research within the college plan for research in addition to the research accomplished outside the research plan.

-Marking the names of the professors who have not fulfilled their research on scheduled appointments.

-Follow-up on holding seminars  with objective and thoughtful plans by the scientific departments and unification and submitted to the College Council to approve.

-Follow-up to the QS file and the means of developing the college and prompting it towards global and to reach and keep pace with international scientific classifications and keep up.

-Follow-up the holding of seminars and scientific discussions for scientific departments through attendance and participating in those activities.

-issuing a quarterly brochure with seminars and symposium, in addition to the completed scientific research for the purpose of informing the College Council after its documentation.

-Issuing a documentation pamphlet of the completed specialized scientific seminars during the academic year.

-Organizing cultural relations with local and international scientific institutions, and contracting and signing cultural and scientific agreements with them in order to achieve global scientific classifications.

-Upgrading the college scientific level across its various activities.

-The establishment of scientific conferences of the College in various terms of reference and detailed supervision of plans, preparations, needs and means to be held in their specific timing.

      -Continuous field follow-up of the scientific activities carried out by scientific      departments and take the necessary measures in this regard.
